Cookie Policy

ClipyToons uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Analytics only runs if you choose "Accept analytics".

These are needed for the site to work, so they don't need consent:

• Sign-in (Clerk): keeps you signed in securely, for the length of your session or until you sign out.
• Payments (Stripe): fraud prevention and security during checkout, on Stripe's pages.
• Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile and ct_bot_session): security checks that keep automated abuse out of support chat. They're set only when you use the chat, and the session cookie expires after a short time.
• Your choices (ct_consent): remembers your cookie choice for 12 months.
• Studio and chat state: remembers the project you were last working on and keeps an open support chat during your visit.

These are stored in your browser's local storage, and only after you choose "Accept analytics":

• ct_vid: a random visitor ID that lets us count returning visits. It stays until you clear it or switch analytics off. If you send a message in live chat, the same ID is also used to deliver our replies to you. That use is strictly necessary for the chat you asked for.
• ct_sid and ct_sid_seen: identify a single visit. A new visit starts after 30 minutes without activity.

This data stays on our own servers and is used to see which pages help families and to offer live help. It's never used for advertising. Page-by-page history is deleted after 180 days, and visitor records after 12 months. See our Privacy Policy.

Use Cookie settings in the site footer to change your choice at any time. If you switch analytics off, we delete the analytics IDs from your browser straight away. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.
