Kiara and the Last Star Dragon

“A 2-minute animated film for ages 5–9 in four connected scenes. Kiara, 9, faces an empty sketchbook until her star clip opens a trail into a glowing forest. She hatches Lumio, a baby star dragon whose light is fading, flies with him through a gentle star storm, and wakes up a sleeping observatory so every star — and Lumio — shines again. Lesson: courage means helping while afraid; kindness and imagination are superpowers.”

   The empty sketchbook

Kiara can't think of a story. Her star clip starts to glow and shows her the way — a first glimpse of a starry observatory.

   • Narrator: “Kiara thought her imagination was asleep, until one tiny star showed her the way.”

2. Scene 2 · 0:30

   A glowing egg

In a glowing forest Kiara finds an egg. Lumio hatches with a stardust sneeze, but his chest light is fading — and Kiara sees an observatory high above the clouds.

   • Kiara: “Hello there, little one. Don't be afraid. I'm here to help.”
   • Kiara: “Don't worry, Lumio. I'll help you find your light.”

3. Scene 3 · 1:00

   Through the star storm

Riding Lumio past floating islands and a waterfall of stars, they fly into a star storm. Kiara's star lights a safe path and they reach the observatory.

   • Kiara: “Lumio, I can feel you're scared. It's okay, buddy.”
   • Kiara: “Being a superhero doesn't mean you're never afraid. It means you help even when you are.”

4. Scene 4 · 1:30

   Wake up the stars

At the great telescope the observatory wakes up, Lumio's light comes back and Kiara finally has her story.

   • Lumio: “Kiara, my light is back!”
   • Kiara: “You were brave too, Lumio.”
   • Narrator: “Kiara finally had her story.”
